If you’d like to return an item purchased online, the process is quick and simple.

Tell Us First

  • Email sales@cycleking.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Include your name, order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item to:

The low step frame is equipped with a neatly integrated 360wh battery that can deliver over 40 miles / 64km of assisted pedalling. The power is delivered from within the Bafang rear hub motor, a brand who is quickly establishing themselves as one of the leading bicycle motor brands with excellent build quality, performance, and value for money.

The battery uses high quality cells from Samsung, another leading brand in the electric bike industry and all pass the most stringent safety and performance tests required by UK and EU law for peace of mind. The battery can be charged on or off the bike, with a complete charge from flat within 5 hours and is easily removed without tools for added convenience. An integrated battery lock ensures peace of mind when left in public.

An easy-to-read display and intuitive computer system offers 5 power assist modes and plenty of information to track your ride including; battery level, current speed, average speed, max speed, trip distance and trip time. To make things easy when off the bike, we’ve fitted a walk assist mode that engages the motor to help drive the bike when pushing up steep hills.

We’ve equipped the Spire 1.0 with dependable 1x8 speed Shimano Altus gearing and powerful, low maintenance Tektro hydraulic disc brakes to help keep you in control when navigating city traffic or the local cycle path. A 70mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lockout takes care of bumps and uneven terrain while the adjustable stem ensures that you can tailor the height of the handlebars so that you are as comfortable as possible.

For rider contact points, you’ll find a comfortable Selle Royal Freeway saddle, ergonomically shaped grips and alloy city pedals. The 700x45c Kenda tyres are grippy and fast rolling with added puncture protection to help keep flat tyres at bay while the reflective detailing increases visibility in low light and nighttime settings.

Lastly, the Spire 1.0 comes as standard with bright front and rear LED lights that are powered directly by the battery, a rear pannier rack for transporting luggage, mudguards to avoid tyre spray and a handy kickstand for parking your bike.

You'll save money on petrol - In fact, the majority of journeys (71% in England) made are under five miles. But cycling only accounts for less than 2% of all journeys. Imagine the money we could save if we switched those short drives to pick up a few items at the shops or dropping the kids off at school to a bike.

Less car maintenance will be required

You'll still get exercise – e-cycling is not cheating! Many studies have shown that e-bikers get plenty of very beneficial aerobic exercise.
