Cycle to Work

The Cycle to Work scheme is an employee benefit that allows you to get a bike and/or accessories through a salary sacrifice arrangement.

You agree to give up part of your salary in exchange for the benefit. Payments are taken from your gross salary (before tax and NI), meaning you save money every month.

There is no credit check to join. Many schemes also allow under-18s with a guarantor, and being on probation normally doesn’t affect eligibility.

Check with your employer if unsure or if you wish to apply.

Step 1 – Get your voucher/certificate
Apply through your employer’s chosen Cycle to Work provider. (We accept all providers)

Step 2 – Choose your items
Select your bike, clothing, equipment and accessories – anything required to help you commute safely and comfortably.

Step 3 – Check out using your voucher (Cycle Scheme Only)
Shop as normal with Cycle King and choose your scheme provider as the payment option.

Step 4 – Enter your voucher or redemption codes
Enter your scheme’s unique code(s) at checkout or provide them in-store. We’ll validate your voucher with your provider.

Step 5 – Order confirmation
Once approved, we’ll process your order. You’ll be notified when your bike is ready for collection or when it has been dispatched.

Customer Notice:

If your employer uses a provider other than "Cycle Scheme", don’t hesitate to contact us directly at info@cycleking.co.uk and we will process your voucher for you.

What can I get through the scheme?
Any bike or e-bike with at least two wheels, plus most essential commuting accessories.

Is there a spending limit?
Many employers offer no upper limit.

Can I add my own money on top?
No. The entire order value must be covered by the voucher.
