Can you transfer a bike from another store? Transfers

Yes, in most cases we can arrange a free store-to-store transfer. Just contact your local store and they’ll handle it for you.

Are online prices the same as in-store prices? Pricing

Yes — our website and stores share the same pricing structure unless a specific online-only offer is running.

Can I pre-order a bike that is out of stock? Pre-Order

Yes — if a model is due back in, the store can place a no-commitment pre-order for you.

How long does a repair normally take? Repairs

It depends on the type of repair and how busy the workshop is. Simple tasks may be same-day; larger repairs may take a few days. Your store will confirm when booking.

Do you repair bikes not purchased from Cycle King? Any Brand

Yes — we repair and service bikes bought anywhere.

Can you service electric bikes? E-Bikes

Yes. We can service most e-bikes; just bring the bike and battery in so the workshop can assess it.

Do I need to bring anything when booking in? Booking

Please bring the bike, any keys (for e-bikes), and your lock code if the bike is secured.

Do you offer safety checks for new bikes? Safety Check

Yes — we offer full safety checks and set-ups to ensure your bike is road-ready.

Will the workshop help with small jobs like a puncture or brake adjustment? Small Jobs

Yes, we handle everything from minor fixes to full rebuilds. Small jobs are often completed the same day.

Can the workshop help pump up my tyres? Tyres

Absolutely — our workshop teams are always happy to help with tyre inflation. Coffees in exchange are always welcome!

Yes — all pre-loved bikes come fully serviced and include a guarantee for peace of mind.

Can I trade in my old bike? Trade-In

How does Click & Collect work? Click & Collect

You can purchase online and choose your nearest store. Your bike will be fully assembled, safety-checked, and ready to ride upon collection.

How long do Click & Collect orders take? Timescale

Most orders are ready within 1–3 working days. The store will contact you as soon as your item is available.

Will my bike come fully built? Assembly

Yes — all Click & Collect bikes are fully assembled and safety-checked by a trained mechanic.

Can someone else collect my order? Collection

Yes — as long as they bring the order confirmation and photo ID.

What payment methods do you accept in-store? Payments

We accept cash, debit/credit cards, Cycle To Work vouchers, Klarna and V12 (where available), and gift vouchers.

Can I pay a deposit to reserve a bike? Deposit

Yes — stores can take a deposit and hold a bike for a short period.

Are bikes covered by a warranty? Warranty

Yes — all bikes come with a manufacturer's warranty, and many frames include a lifetime guarantee through us.

My bike has developed a fault. What should I do? Fault

Simply return the bike to your local store. The workshop team will inspect the issue and advise next steps.

Do I need to register my warranty? Register

Yes — all bikes must be registered within 30 days of purchase.

Can I return an unwanted item? Returns

Yes — items can be returned in unused condition with proof of purchase. Bikes can only be done BEFORE leaving the store.

Can I return a Home Delivery bike to a store? HD Returns

Yes — any of our stores can assist with returns or assessments for home-delivered bikes.
