Cycle King & Hawk Cycles Store Frequently Asked Questions

Do all of your shops keep the same range? Will my local store have all of the models on your website in stock?
All of our shops carry different stock purely due to the different sizes of our stores, however we do have a computerised stock system, so if for any reason you are not sure we can check individual branches for availability. The models featured on the site are current stock models, so if your local store is temporarily out of stock, then these can be ordered for you free of charge and without the need for any commitment.
How much will it cost to supply and fit new parts to my bike, and will you be able to repair it today?
We are unable to give quotes on repairs via email, as prices could vary enormously when the cycle is subsequently seen. You will also need to check with the store when booking your bike in, to determine the collection time; this will not necessarily be the same day. I bought a bike from you 6 months ago, and I need to know whether a part is covered under the guarantee?
Your bike will certainly still be covered by the guarantee. Please return the cycle to our shop, where we will be able to inspect it for you.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit our Warranty page here.
I've heard that I can save money on my new bike as part of the Cycle To Work Scheme. How do I do this?
At Cycle King & Hawk Cycles we are affiliated with several Cycle To Work schemes to ensure that we can accommodate your needs and help you to ride more. Find out how you can claim over on our Cycle To Work information page here.
I purchased the wrong size bicycle online, can I return it for another size?
In the event you need to return anything to us, please contact us using the returns details on our Terms and Conditions page. You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your bike, and the bike must be returned to us in a perfect saleable condition. The return postage costs in these instances are the responsibility of the purchaser. Should you wish us to arrange for our courier to collect the goods, our standard charge for this is £20. A new order for a replacement bicycle in the correct size can then be placed.
How does your loyalty scheme work?
After signing up for the Cycle King & Hawk Cycles Loyalty Scheme, you will receive your personal Loyalty Card which can be used to earn points at participating stores and online for all purchases. This will also be linked to your account when you visit us. You must spend at least £1 in a single transaction for the transaction to qualify for points. Then you will start to be awarded points for everything further spent. The amount of points awarded can be altered at the discretion of Cycle King & Hawk Cycles. Full details can be found on our Terms and Conditions page.
What social distancing measures do you have in place in store?
We have implemented social distancing measures to allow a safe flow of customers and colleagues through all of our stores whilst also restricting the number of customers entering the shop at any one time. (Subject to ongoing change following government guidelines).
Can I pump up my tyres for free in-store?
Our workshop teams will be able to help pump up your tyres - coffees in exchange are always welcome.
Do you offer any financing options?
Klarna's Pay in 3 / Pay in 30 days are unregulated credit agreements. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. Late fees may apply. Ts&Cs apply. Find out more here.
What is your returns policy?
Our full returns policy can be found over on our Terms and Conditions page.
